I haven’t had any time to blog this past summer, but I just had to share this wedding that Shaeline and I captured together end of July. Kara and Jeremy were suppose to get married on Saturday July 22nd, and if you guys recall, we got a whopping 350 mm of rain that weekend. I know they hadn’t slept a minute, and neither did we, we were texting each other at midnight, then at five in the morning, and I just said, hey I will cancel all of Sunday plans, if you guys are able to get married on Sunday. The whole wedding got replanned for that next day.
And I have never seen a wedding party + friends hustle this well on a wedding day. I have to give them credit for so much. They cooked the food, because the food truck couldn’t make it on Sunday but they dropped off all of the food in the morning. They did such an amazing job. This wedding was gorgeous, and it was perfect just as it was. It just goes to show you, that not everything will go to how you plan it, but if you are open, truly open to whatever comes, the pieces will fall into place better than you could have hoped for. It’s just really good to have a group of solid friends who will put those aprons on, follow directions to recipes left behind, and whip up an amazing meal for all of the guests.
Kara and Jeremy, thank you for having Shaeline and I, we had an amazing time with all of you. Here are some of my favourite photos from the day, and there are so many.
